Egyptian Premier League side, Al Ahly Sporting Club, simply called Al Ahly is arguably the world’s most successful football club. The club was established on 24th April 1907, making it one of the oldest football clubs in Africa. It has three stadiums namely; Al Ahly Wel Salam Stadium, Cairo International Stadium, and Borg El Arab stadium.
Since their Super Cup victory on Friday (16th July 2021), the club has dominated so many news platforms as people congratulate the players and coach Misomane for winning the CAF Champions League trophy back-to-back; that is in 2020 and 2021, and a treble – CAF Champions League, Super Cup, and Egyptian Soccer Cup. Coach Misomane is the only coach in the world to have led two clubs to win 10 trophies each. He won the 10th PSL League trophy with the South African club, Mamelodi Sundowns FC, and the 10th CAF Champions League with Egypt’s AlAhly.

They also have an award for Global soccer Top Titles Winners in the Middle East (2020) and CAF Club of the 20th century: 2001. They occupy the first position on CAF overall ranking of African clubs. In 2005, the team went a whole season unbeaten. They played 46 matches in all competitions without getting defeated by any other club.
