Piers Morgan Pays Tribute To Rolling Stones Superstar, Charlie Watts

Known for his morning greetings to Britain, the former host of Good Morning Britain, Piers Morgan, has inked an emotional tribute to the legend, Charlie Watts of Rolling Stones fame.

The iconic drummer died on August 24, 2021, in London hospital at aged 80. Gone into the blessed memory, Charlie Watts who was originally trained as a Graphic Artist discovered his love for drums and was a member of the Rolling Stones since 1963.

“It is with immense sadness that we announce the death of our beloved Charlie watts. He passed away peacefully in a London hospital earlier today surrounded by his family,” London publicist, Bernard Doherty.

Piers Morgan described Charlie Watts as a “brilliant musician, cool, calm, and ever-pounding heartbeat of the Stones.”

“A brilliant musician and a wonderful character, he was the cool, calm, ever-pounding heartbeat of the Stones. Very sad news,” He wrote on Twitter.

Piers Morgan continued the tribute with a quote about what Charlie Watts did to Mick Jagger.
