Official: Vitorino Hilton extends the fun at MHSC

The dean of Ligue 1 will continue to play an additional season.

There is good news for Montpellier. After qualifying for the Europa League following the shutdown of Ligue 1, the club’s supporters learned some good news today.

Vitorino Hilton has indeed initialed a new contract (his ninth) with the club. He is linked for an additional season with the Mosson club.

Vitorino Hilton joined the MHSC in 2011 and is the oldest player in the squad. The Brazilian central defender has played 321 games, winning in his first year the title of champion of France.

The sixth most capped player in club history, Hilton will still be on the pitch at 43. An extension in view of a season which he will savor, since he confessed on the website of the club that he thinks will be “the last”.
