Borussia Dortmund seems to have won the battle to keep their star man, Erling Haaland. The unstoppable Norwegian goalscorer has just opened up that he is “proud to be part of” Borussia Dortmund.
Borussia Dortmund have maintained their position of letting go of all the offers they have and may receive for the services of Erling Haaland. The striker has been linked to a move to favorable clubs like Real Madrid, Barcelona, PSG, Manchester City, and Chelsea.
Barcelona and Manchester City are out of the race after Barcelona announced the departure of Lionel Messi due to financial constraints and Man City completing the €100m transfer fee of Jack Grealish from Aston Villa.
Chelsea have also opened talks with former player Romelu Lukaku who have agreed in principle to return to Stanford Bridge. Borussia Dortmund began the season with a win over Wehen in the DFB-Pokal where Haaland scored the hat trick.
After the match, Erling Haaland has revealed that “I’m proud to be part of this club. I’m proud of being part of Borussia Dortmund”. Though this may be part of the footballer’s speech, Erling Haaland confirms he is staying at Borussia Dortmund.
